How to Become a Hacker?

Introduction

Before starting, it is very important to know what exactly hacking is? And who is the hacker? and what are the tasks the hacker should perform? What are the types of hacker? Many people ask me that I want to become a hacker so I can hack my friend’s Instagram or Gmail account, the wrong definition starts from here, I want to say that if one wants to learn hacking for only and only the fun purpose then it will not work for him, hacking is an art! Hacking is all about to take mastery in the computer and network and show your love, passion, and dedication to the Information Technology concepts. 

My dear friends you do not need to worry about how all the stuff we can cover in one life, it not that much hard. Nothing is impossible in the world, in this time our space scientists reach the mars and tries to learn about that, and for hacking, you do not need to go that far. We can include this term into cybersecurity which includes all the security concepts of computers and networks. Everyone who is very passionate about IT can start this hacking thing, but this is not possible if they are meant to annoy people.

 What is Hacking?

 Hacking is all about gather vulnerabilities and weaknesses of the network or the system and gaining access to those systems or networks. And hackers are the person who has good knowledge of systems and networks, according to their knowledge they can gain unauthorized access to those systems, while ethical hacker has permission to access the system of the company. Many companies appoint ethical hackers to find variabilities of their systems and they get paid for it. 

There are some types of hackers 

1. White hat hackers: We can also call them ethical hackers, they are the professional hackers they hack or penetrate the system or the network by the guidance of the client or the company. 

2. Gray Hat hackers: They are a combination of white and black hat hackers. A gray hat hacker can get unauthorized access to the system and tell the network administrator about that weakness and can demand payment for this. Sometimes an ethical hacker can also be a gray hat hacker

 3. Black hat hacker: They can get unauthorized access to the system with a view to harming the network or the system. They don’t have any permission to hack the system of the company, but they enter the network for gathering some confidential data of the company.

 4. Script kiddies: A person like students who do not have any technical knowledge and just use build tools to hack the system.

There is a policy in every company which hires the hacker for vulnerability testing to compulsory create a document about all the perform tasks. 

Required skills to become a hacker

For being good penetration tester you always be ready to learn new things and also have to learn one coding or scripting language and must have knowledge of networking.

Require technical skills for white hat hacker

1. Programming: In order to run we must first be able to walk, and our legs must have enough strength for walking. Same in hacking we must have to know at least basic knowledge of programming or coding. If don’t have any idea of programing than start with the basics, start with basic HTML language, which is used to develop a website. Now slowly start C programing language which helps you to gather the idea of programming and increase logic for creating a program. Then choose a language based upon your interest, you can choose java, javascript, PHP, Python, C++ like languages. The most important thing in programming to know is to learn about data types, variables, functions, and implementation at the OS level 

2. Basics of OS: UNIX like Operating Systems are very important to know to every hacker, Those are they are the open-source systems and the most famous Unix like OS is Linux, you can choose any of the operating systems but the main thing is to focus on shell command for the hacking purpose and forget the GUI ( Graphical User Interface ). 

3. Networking and security: When we were in the jungle and lost the path, the same experience we feel when we do not know the networking while hacking

 4. Grab technical knowledge as much as you can: Because there are many technologies used in the industry so as you have more knowledge about it as easily you can understand the company setup.

Non-technical skills a hacker should have 

1. Improve your creativity: Hackers are like the artist they always believe in freedom, start watching science Fraxion movies. Hackers are always ready to develop or grow their skills and have good program solving skills. 

2. Improve self-learning skills: always ready to grab new things by yourself, you have to get always ready to learn from your experience. Think about how hackers may think for the system hacking 

3. Decide a target: as people say without a target where should we have to go? So always decide a target

4. Keep updated with the company infrastructure: in every company or network there in many possibilities increases for the loophole for the hackers
